If your pet has any type of acute problem, they will NOT accommodate you or try to squeeze you in, like any good place would (a change from when they first began). Instead, you are left to seek care elsewhere, which makes this place unreliable for anything other than routine care.
So overall, I'd give them about a C grade. That's too bad, since they started off so well.

This place was excellent when they first opened, but it has gone down hill since then. One of their vets retired, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. He was excellent. They do offer subsidized rates for low income, which is great, although they did recently raise all of those rates. The rates are still lower than non-subsidized you would find elsewhere, and for that reason, I can give them 3 stars, instead of 2. However, it now takes on average 2 weeks to get an appointment. Often, nobody answers the phone, and if you leave a message, it takes days to get a response. If ever you need a simple prescription refill, you will have to pay for an office visit (even if it's been less than a year), so that adds extra expense.

My first visit was amazing. My housemates cat "Gregory" had an upper respiratory infection and couldn't stop sneezing. Day later he was back to himself after antibiotics. The doctors and staff sincerely love animals and not just your $$. They really care. I can't stress it enough. I have since changed my vet to Second Chance.
Even though I went in 20 minutes late and they were about to close, they still saw my Kitty. They were gentle and kind.
Just hope my old vet find's another way to afford her brand new Lexus every year. Yes, each and every year.
