The building owner for my store hired this company to build an addition onto an existing structure. For the most part it went well, but we've had some major issues, some of which haven't been taken care of. When they were contracted to put up the addition, they were also contracted to paint and insulate the rest of the building, including the old structure; beyond any kind of reasonable explanation, a fair-sized hole was left in a wall, yet they insulated the area anyway. This allowed wild animals to enter through the wall and nest in the insulation, ultimately causing it to collapse from the wall. We had raccoons that had a litter, birds nesting, and squirrels, all coming from that hole. We had to have an exterminator come in to cut the insulation to get the animals out since there was no other entry point.

Despite many calls, I've only managed to get ahold of them a couple of times, both times being told it'd be taken care of. It's now been approximately 8 months and I don't so much as have a name for the sub-contractor they used so I can hire them to fix it. The insulation is destroyed as a result, and I have no way of doing the repair in-house. This is completely unacceptable, and I would not recommend the use of these guys for any construction project again. In addition, other contractors are reluctant to do anything for obvious reasons, not excluding that since it's not a big job, it's not worth their time. My next step is a complaint to the better business bureau, as I need the insulation and wall fixed before the winter and we end up with even more animals living in the building.
