Entry to the park is not free but if you're a city resident you can get a discounted annual pass. If you don't get the annual pass I'm not positive but it might cost about $3 a visit, which is still really good for a day out with your family or even a solo trip.
My happy place!! Often visit for meditation, to sit back and relax. There's a zoo, Picnic area, basket ball courts, baseball park and soccer. Playground. Ducks pond, and Carriage House for activities.
This park is extremely beautiful this is probably my favorite part in Massachusetts! It is so so so very clean and it is a great place to go ahead take a jog or walk maybe even spend time with friends or hold an event. I absolutely love that they have the zoo available for the little ones. I love going to this park!
An absolute jewel of a park with basketball courts, tennis courts, gardens, ponds, playgrounds, a spraypark, and a pool. Great paths for walking/running/biking! Well kept playing fields. Wonderful events like Bright Nights!
It really is a great place to take your family for the day or just got a walk.
Haven't seen bright nights in couple of years has done new pieces. It would be nice if they expanded it more. Had a good time
They also have farmers markets for local growers to sell their goods.
I've been told drug addicts hang out in these woods to get high, but I've been in these woods over one hundred times and have never seen even one in the woods, where I always take my dogs for a walk.
They have areas for picnics and cookouts, Sports and water play. They have an on-site Zoo, ice skating rink and playgrounds for the kids. During the summer they offer different kinds of summer camps, and this is a great place for learning about nature.
