Can I put zero stars. I've been going to Good Year for years with different cars! I have recommended this establishment for it's good work and honesty. Recently I had issues with one of my cars and against my better judgment to take it to Manchester CT to Schaller Acura for repairs. I decided the car wasn't new anymore and I should be able to allow someone else who has the experience to work on it. I had the car towed in and was told it was the front axle. the cost would be $364. I received a phone call a couple of hours later to then be told the axle was too short and they would have to order a different one and that would increase the cost to $530. I asked Steve..."Do I need to come down and have my car towed somewhere else to make sure this gets fixed right?" He said no, the new part should be fine. I get the call to pick up my car. He charges me $410. The next day my husband is driving the car and ends up stranded because of the same issue. I have the car towed back to Good Year and Steve tells my husband (who's not aware of the conversation me and Steve had) "oh look the axle is just too short and it came out. We can order a different one". I ask Steve "How are you going to make the decision to put an axle on my car that you told me was to short in the first place?" His justification was that he only charged me $410 when I picked it up so I should've know he used the axle (THAT CLEARLY DIDN'T FIT!!!). WOW!!! I drove my car on the mass pike when I left his garage. Thank GOD I'm still alive!!!
