Not helpfull at all i faxed papers multiple times!! Never got any of them. Im sooooo annoyed and i really dont want to go to this office tomorrow. Horrible reviews ive read......
NOTICE: IF YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH MASS HEALTH VIA PHONE, YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE DAY OFF. IF YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH THEM IN PERSON, YOU MAY WAIT ALL DAY THEN BE TOLD YOU WILL HAVE TO RETURN THE NEXT DAY, SO TAKE 2 DAYS OFF TO BE SAFE. MAYBE EVEN 3 DAYS OFF. This is a phone tree & customer service FROM HELL. Once you get through the never-ending phone tree, assuming that you even get through it at all, you end up on hold again -perpetually before the line simply disconnects. If a customer service rep has no idea how to assist you, then you get put on hold FOREVER. A 2 HOUR HOLD before the line simply...disconnected on its own. There are so many options to handle things online, however there are NO OPTIONS for certain things people need so there's no choice but to call. Emails only receive automated responses. You'd think that TAXACHUSETTS could invest in actual people who want to do their job. I have to admit this is kind of weird, as I have never dealt with leaving a review on Welfare before...but when a welfare department gets bad reviews, maybe it's time to move to Florida.
I have never been so disrespected by somebody than when i called this god damned help line. I waited 30 minutes, got transferred 3 times, total of 1 hour and 30 minutes, all for some simple paperwork, then to get hung up on by some deaf idiot working on the other line that couldn't hear me. Thank you for your 0 star service.
Thanks for hanging up on me after i waited all morning on hold and was transferred over 3 times(over 1.5hrs of wait) . It was really nice to know that even after you try to be as polite and helpful as possible, that some DUMB UNEDUCATED IDIOT on the other line can just hang up the phone because the connection gets bad for a few seconds and she cannot hear my age correctly. It was funny because you heard everything i had to say before, and when i repeated my age 3 or 4 times, you just simply hung up on me. That was SPECTACULAR. Thanks for the 5 star help.
Just don't go during open enrollment and expect fast service, there's only 3 locations in the State. Any other time of year though, I've gotten good help and fast.
People, stop giving the LOCATION a bad review because the PHONE call center screwed up and made you wait. If I could review the call center.. negative stars. If I could review their website.. Negative stars. But the physical location in Springfield? Been good so far.
I've had to come down a few times because I keep getting "cancelled for non payment" when their website gives me confirmation that I paid. The people in the call center are demeaning and try to say I'm always late with my payments or don't pay, but when I go in person I bring my paperwork showing when I submitted payment, and they fix it. They're friendly and they know the site is buggy.
Wait was short, staff was friendly and helpful.
